The watch is unlocked and compatible with most global carriers supporting 4G LTE, 3G, and 2G bands. You will need a Nano-SIM card with active data, voice, and SMS. We recommend checking with your local sim card provider to ensure they support the watch's frequency bands for the best coverage.
2. How long does the battery last on a single charge?
Under normal usage (with GPS updates every 10-60 minutes), the battery typically lasts 2 to 3 days. To extend battery life, you can adjust the "Location Update frequency" in the app.
3. Is my child's data secure on the Beesure GPS App?
Data security is our top priority. All communication between the watch, the Beesure GPS App, and our servers is encrypted. We do not share personal location data with third parties, ensuring your child's movements and identity remain private and protected.
4. Why is the location showing an offset of a few hundred meters?
The watch uses GPS, Wi-Fi, and LBS for positioning. Outdoors with a clear sky, GPS is accurate within less than 5 meters. When the child moves indoors where GPS signals are blocked, the watch switches to LBS (cell tower), which can have an offset depending on the distance to the nearest tower.
5. Can I manage multiple watches from one smartphone?
Yes! The Beesure GPS App allows you to add and monitor multiple watches (Max. 50 devices) under a single administrator account. You can switch between profiles instantly to check each child's location or initiate a video call.
6. Is the watch truly waterproof for swimming?
The watch features an IP67 water-resistance rating, which means it is protected against rain, splashes, and accidental immersion (like washing hands). However, to prolong the life of the internal waterproof seals, we do not recommend wearing it for swimming, diving, or in hot showers/baths.
